Film Marketing Research

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 PosterReal Steel Poster
  1. Film marketing is also known as movie promotion. It is a vital aspect of in enhancing your movies production revenue.
  2. A film poster is the advertisement used in the film industry to encourage people to see the film. On a film poster it would normally tell you who stars in the film  with a picture of the movie it shows a short slogan and a the age of the film. Two examples of a film poster:
  3. A film trailer is what is used to persuade the target audience to watch the flim. It normally shows short and quick pieces of the film and who stars in the film. The last film trailer I watched was the Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 1. The film trailer was very encouraging it showed clips that i wanted to know answers to.
  4. "Film Merchandise is products such as T-shirts, mugs, hats, bags, figures, cases for phones and posters.Twilight Eclipse T-Shirt - One Sheet Three ShotTwilight New Moon iPhone Skin- Edward, Bella, & Jacob (IMPORT)
  5. A film website is the site that allows you to view trailers, exclusive information on new movies, quizzes, images, and completions
  6. some film companies have produced apps for their film to sale to the public.

Respresentation - teenagers

INTRODUCTION:
I have chosen this social group becasue adults always think we are thugs amd that we all carry knives. in the media you hear a lot about teenagers and that they are all thugs going around stabbing people.
SECTION 1-TELEVISION:
Fatboy from eastenders would be seen as a stereotype because he is young and he talks in slang.
An adult who doesn't really like teengares would instanly think that Fatboy is a stereotype because he wears a hoodie and talks in slang but he is not a bad person.

SECTION 2-FILM:
Shank is a youth based action film set in a decaying futer in london. Its is about a boy called Junior (Kedar Williams-Stirling) and his brother Rager (Ashley 'Bashy' Thomas) and there crew the Paper Chaserz, Kickz (Adam Deacon), Sweat Boy and Craze (Michael Socha) trying to steal a truck full of muncheies (food) but things dont go to plan when the Souljahs get involed.
In this movie it signifies that teenangers are violent criminals they carry knives and go looking around for trouble killing and fighting.

Thieves at work: A masked youth steals a flat screen TV as others hold up the shop security shutters of Harris Electronics in Hackney to help himSpoils of greed: A child cycles away with a supermarket basket full of booty looted from a Tesco store in Peckham RyeA property on fire near Reeves Corner, Croydon, south London
SECTION 3: NEWS: London Riots
this news article shows that thousands of teenagers all over london  being violent, looting shops setting fire o shops and destroying the community. There were riots in Croydon, Brixton, Birmingham, Liverpool, Nottingham and Bristol. These London riots shows a typical stereotype towards teenagers its shows the negative attidude towards the community and the police.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-14439970.

SECTION 4:CONCLUSION
I think in general adults have a strong view on that teenagers are criminals and that they all wear hoodies and carry weapons like knives, dogs, baseball bats, guns and etc. Adults think like this becasue of what they see in movies and what they hear in media. In the media we hear lots about teenage muggings teenagers getting stabbed and riots it then makes them feel that all teenagers are like that but most are not. In movies we see lots of stereo types in films like Kidulthood, Adulthood, Shank, Anuvahood and Attack the block. On TV see we see teenagers shown as stereotypes in Eastenders, Hollyoaks, Inbetweeners, Skins and Waterloo road
